Fans from Dietz-motoren, also for aggressive mediums

Our radial fans stand for quality and robustness. They are powerful and can be used flexibly for low, medium or high pressure. With our closely graded sizes, we offer the optimum unit for every application. By using our centrifugal fans, you can solve even complex ventilation tasks with ease.

We have been using aluminium housings for our centrifugal fans for decades. Basically, the material aluminium offers natural advantages from which many customers benefit.
The material is light, robust, dimensionally stable and largely resistant to corrosion. A housing without coating only reaches its limits when it comes into contact with aggressive media or abrasive materials in use - because an aluminium housing is very robust, but not resistant to all media.

Usually metals have to be protected against corrosion by coatings. We offer various proven types of coating, including the particularly high-quality "Halar® ECTFE coatings". The abbreviation "ECTFE coating" means "Ethylene Chlorotrifluoroethylene coating".
The question now arises as to what effect it has when the aluminium housings of radial fans are coated. If the aluminium housing is coated from the inside and outside, the aim of this process is to protect the housing from oxidation, chemical attack and environmental influences.

The special features of a "Halar® ECTFE coating" are that this type of coating has excellent chemical resistance, good non-stick properties, a wide operating temperature range up to approx. 150°C and high impact and shock resistance.

If you have any questions on the topic of coatings, we are pleased to assist you with our many years of experience in the field of corrosion protection and will be happy to advise you.

On our "fan overview page" you can see the complete product range of radial fans for yourself. From low-pressure fans to high-pressure fans and all the way to high-performance blowers.
Using our in-house product finder "Fanfinder", you can display two suitable selection options for radial fans by entering your defined working point (pressure and volume flow). You have the option of making a direct online enquiry or ordering via our online shop. It is immediately apparent whether the desired radial fan is available in the online shop or not. Of course you can also call up the radial fans via the product list, where it is also clearly marked whether a radial fan is available in the online shop or not.

What is a working point?

The "working point", also sometimes called the "operating point", is the point at which the fan characteristic curve intersects with the system characteristic curve. It tells you what pressure and flow rate are established when the system is operated with the particular fan.
